Might change what I am doing

February 9th, 2010 Jason Chappell No comments

Well, some of you may know that I am currently attending Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah for my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. Well, I am considering changing that. I need money extremely bad (just like everyone else in the current economy). S0, I am thinking about getting my CDL now, and driving for a few years, then getting my Computer Science degree at a later time. My dad has his CDL and has tried to talk me into getting one, so its not like my parents would be mad about it.

I just need to start making money soon, as I am flat broke, and I have not even had anything to eat in 4 days. I don’t know if I am actually going to do this or not yet, but it is something I am considering.

Vector Marketing… Scam!

February 5th, 2010 Jason Chappell No comments

So, I found out the hard way, all those posts on the Internet were right, Vector Marketing is a scam. I quit today after I told my trainer I had no money for my $148.00 sales kit, and he told me to either borrow it from my parents (not a possibility), or to take out a title loan on my truck (fuck that).

I should have known it was a scam based on the fact that training is 3 days long, about 6 hours a day, and your NOT paid for it. Now I feel like a dumb ass. What every you do, never trust Vector Marketing.

Self-help guru James Ray Arrested

February 4th, 2010 Jason Chappell No comments

Self-help guru James Ray has been arrested relating to 3 deaths connected to a sweat-lodge ceremony in Arizona. I have to say, it is about damn time. He was arrested manslaughter relating to the deaths. Some people have been saying that he should not be liable as it was unforeseeable. Bullshit I say! He was obviously negligent, which makes it criminally negligent manslaughter.

First day of work

February 4th, 2010 Jason Chappell No comments

Well, today was my first day of work at Vector Marketing. I have to say, I am impressed. It was a very productive (training) day. We learned quite a bit about the product we will be selling, which is CUTCO brand cutlery. I am excited to be able to get out in the field and sell some things this weekend.

The product is great, and I have a feeling I will do really great with this job.
